The $300 Dryer Question

Why Cheap Dryers Cause Damage

The Case for Pro Dryers

SPEAKER_00

Well, hey there, and welcome to Straight from the Stylist Chair. This is a special QA series here on All About Hair. I'm your host, Denise Keilitz, and I'm here to answer the real questions clients ask in the salon so you can feel confident and love every visit. Hey there and welcome back to Straight from the Stylist Chair, where I help you make smart hair investments. Today's question is one that I've even asked myself. Are you wondering if a$300 hairdryer is hype or actually worth it? Let's break it down. First and foremost, if you go to the drugstore and buy a cheap hairdryer, these can fry your hair. Have you ever been in a hotel and you've used a cheap little hairdryer? They take forever to dry, and for some reason your hair is a frizzy mess because it causes frizz. It either doesn't heat up well enough, it takes forever to dry, it just but the price of professional hairdryers scares people off. I do not blame you. I tell you, there's some beautiful, wonderful appliances out there, but wow. Look, I get it. Sticker shock keeps most of us using old damaging tools. But you gotta remember that high-quality dryers, they cut your drying time, they reduce the heat exposure, they add shine, and they often last for years because they're designed to be used in the hair salons for like eight hours, ten hours a day constantly. If you're buying one for your home use, you only use it once a day, probably. So if you style often, it's an investment that protects your hair and your time. So, yes, would I say these are worth it? Yes, you're gonna get faster, smoother blowouts, and healthier hair, plus fewer arm workouts while drying. Am I right? Hey, thanks for hanging out with me today. I hope today's chat helps you walk into your next appointment feeling totally confident.
